Welcome. Photography has always been my favorite hobby. When I was a kid I took my camera everywhere; picnics, concerts, vacations, camping and parties. I was always looking for something unique and different to take a picture of. My family would laugh at me for taking so many pictures of bugs and flowers. Still today, one of my photography passions is taking pictures of flowers and insects in my gardens. I love the colors and textures.

My career has been in photofinishing and photography.   Actually 18 years in professional photofinishing and management in a true professional environment, not a drugstore and not some supercenter.   I’ve seen many changes through the years and experienced the transition from film to digital.

Many good professional film photographers had trouble switching to digital because now they had to learn how to “fix” their images on the computer before having them printed.   I was able to show many of them key points in the transition.   To them, it was like learning photography all over again.   I’ve made the switch and am enjoying the creativity.

Image manipulation is fun. It can also achieve some interesting results. Take for example the two images above. They were combined to create the one below. Notice that Trucker's eyes are flashed out. Problem corrected in the final product. Use your creativity to create something.
